The Data Centers segment, contributing 2.9%, is becoming increasingly important as large-scale facilities embrace sustainable cooling technologies to enhance power usage effectiveness and reduce carbon emissions. The integration of natural refrigerants into high-capacity cooling systems reflects the growth of Europe’s digital economy.

Lastly, the Public Infrastructure segment, accounting for 2.0%, includes entities such as hospitals, universities, airports, railway stations, and government buildings, where public procurement is increasingly favoring sustainable refrigeration technologies. Although this segment currently represents a smaller share of total demand, government-led decarbonization initiatives are driving investments in energy-efficient cooling systems.

Overall, across all end-user categories, the choice of refrigerants is becoming more influenced by application-specific performance rather than solely by regulatory compliance. Industrial users prioritize factors like cooling capacity, reliability, and lifecycle operating costs, while commercial operators are more concerned with energy efficiency, maintenance requirements, and regulatory certainty. The food processing and pharmaceuticals sectors demand precise temperature control and uninterrupted operations, while retail focuses on reducing refrigerant leakage and standardizing store formats. 

Additionally, residential applications are evolving through electrification strategies that position propane-based heat pumps as central to Europe's building decarbonization roadmap. Consequently, the market is leaning towards specialized refrigerant deployment, enabling each industry to select technologies based on their specific operating conditions, safety requirements, capital expenditure, and long-term efficiency goals.
